Question redirect - firefox browser

Hello,

The website template I am using is a flash template, and will not work in firefox browsers. I have not tested template in netscape yet.

I was wondering how can I redirect the visitor to the non_flash site if there browser does not support flash.

Or if the browser shoudl be redirected based on browser type such as firefox, netscape, etc.?

Thanks,
Chris

Here is a link to a browser detect/redirect script - http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/bredirect.htm

I do not know if you can adapt this to detect flash support.

Here is a link that might do exactly what you want (I did not read through the whole thing) - http://www.moock.org/webdesign/flash...ect2andup.html

If you search for - browser detect redirect flash support - on the Internet you should find something that works.

Here is somthing from adobe that might even be better - http://www.adobe.com/products/flashp...detection_kit/

I found this with a quick search: http://www.quirksmode.org/js/flash.html.

Since this is not possible with just HTML, I'm gonna move this to Javascript, but the with link I provided, and with a few modifications, this should do exactly what you want.
