Can download status be displayed...

Hi,
I've created a web page that contains a 2.3MB QuickTime movie and I'm wondering if there is a way to display down status for the viewer (I.e. Download ---% complete). I've created this sort of preloader in an .swf movie and I'd like to know if there is a way to do it on a basic .html page. I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks and God bless.
