Cool about "overflow" style-attribute and Netscape

I'm using DIVs with overflow that switches from "visible" to "hidden" (and viceversa) on IE5+... Well, on NS6+ it doesn't work
Is it possible that the actual values for this attribute are not the same on different browsers? (as for the "visibility" property, I mean)

Could anyone send me to some useful references?

Thanks...
