Need basic JS to make sure form is filled out

Hi, I need a basic JS that will not allow the person to submit the form until all of the required field are filled in.

I know there are in-depth js for this, but I've seen basic ones too, they look real simple. I saw one the other day but didn't copy it, and I can't remember where it was.....anyhoo....can anybody help?
