Ok, I am working on a project and I came up with a custom dialog box to take user input and send it back to the server. One problem, it renders fine locally under MAMP (LAMP for Mac) but it does not render the background and is spread all over the page on my remote Ubuntu LAMP server where I am doing most of the developing. I attached the appropriate javascript and css as well as 2 screen shots.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

It might be a file not found or path issue. If you can use Firebug, it would help. If Firebug's not available, you may be able to get some information from the log files (/etc/httpd/logs/error_log and /etc/httpd/logs/access_log - paths will probably vary on your machine).

You may also want to consider using a javascript library - such as jQuery, dojo, scriptaculous, prototype or ExtJS.

I downloaded firebug and it was saying it couldn't find the css file on the server. No idea why, it was there. But I renamed it and now it loads correctly!

I had tried to use a jQuery time picker, but could never get it to work. I wonder if the issue is related. Might go and try again.
