Smile limiting size of pop-up window on Mac

On my website I have pop-up windows for larger images.

http://rna.ca/sewing/robot_landscapes/index.shtml

On a PC it works just as it should.

On a Mac (in both Explorer and Safari) I get scroll bars.

This might be because there is a counter beyond the cut off size that I don't want it to be seen. (The window is supposed to be 640 wide by 520 high, and the counter makes the content larger than this vertical size.)

Is there a way to force Mac browsers to not have scrollbars on pop-up windows, effectively ignoring content beyond the size of the window specified?

All help will be much appreciated.
