We are seeking a Senior Programmer who demonstrates relational database concepts, exceptional programming skills and understanding of current web technology. You will be developing core functionality and features in new and existing web sites and software applications serving the health insurance industry.

As a member of the project team, the Senior Programmer is responsible for application design/analysis, developing project plans, coding, testing, documenting all code, and maintaining and upgrading existing applications. This individual also plays a role in identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems; documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

Experience with administrative reporting systems, CRM, version control software and implementation of testing procedures is a huge plus. Senior Programmer must be instructive and guiding to junior associates within their team.

Qualifications:
■ MySQL, DB2, PHP, XML, Visual Basic, Access, Java, JavaScript, Solaris and Linux/Apache required. Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .NET Framework and ANSMTP a plus.
■ Understand relational and object database concepts
■ Must be familiar with web services environment
■ Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills
■ Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
■ Ability to accurately estimate project task timelines and deliver solutions on time
■ Strong business analysis skills
■ 3-5 years experience in web development
■ 5+ total years in development
