Required Inventory Control and Accounts Software!
Greet all.
I am Sam. I am a programmer but not much experienced and skilled. Recently my client has asked me to develop software on Inventory Control and Accounts Management. But I am given pretty less time for it to complete. The project is big and so is the Profit.
So instead of turning it down I thought that I will assign it to another programmer to complete it and then I will do the customized modification. I want the project in VB 6 as front end and MS-Access as Back End. The software should be general.
Software Description:
Individual Item Details:- Maintains complete information for each inventory Item with fields Item name, Brand, Code, Department, Size, Color, Quantity on-hand, on-order, Vendors, Invoice Number on which item was purchased and 8 price levels per item for discount price level definitions.
- Reports for all inventory items.
- Allows Addition/Deletion of Inventory Items through Purchase/Sales transactions input respectively.
- Provides complete inventory reports with sorting on all the above fields.
- Provides information of receipts, issues, returns and adjustments.
- Tracks quantities for one warehouse/location or multiple locations and provides inventory transfer option that allows parts to be easily moved between locations.
- Performs inventory validation and error reporting (if any), while continuing to process transaction.
Item Group/Type Details:- Maintains information about item with fields, Description, Code, Quantity, Size, Color, Department, Packing quantity, Code, Department, Quantity on-hand, on-order.
- Allows Adding new Item type. Also allows to generate report of warehouse items based on sorting of above fields.
- Stores and displays images of your parts. Supports most standard graphic file types including .bmp, .gif, .jpg, and .tif and description of 500 of less characters.
- Provides short and long description up to 500 characters along with images.
- Track minimum and maximum stocking levels for each item type while transaction processing.
- Allows removal of Item information from inventory after the item is unused for specific period of time, but should prompt user before removing and checks that item is not available in inventory. And allows discontinued items to be sold until depleted, but not allow any future purchase orders for that item
- Allows searching of inventory items by several methods including Code, Department, Description, Vendor, Group ,Attribute, Brand, Date Purchased, Invoice Number etc
Customer and Vendor Details:- Allows Adding/Updating Customer and Vendor details except code and allows to generate report based on sorting of all fields.
- Provides information for pending orders, amount receivable/payable and Paid/Received amount.
Transactions Details:- Details of each individual item sold and purchased item.
- Details of each transaction both sales and purchase with discounts and free products consideration.
- Amount Paid and received history

U will be paid
Yeah I missed the above lines. You will be paid for your work. And it would be approximate to the amount of work you do.
