We are considering bringing a second programmer into our project, but they must be somebody with the type of experience we require. The project is a long term project.
The ideal programmer for us would have experience in shopping cart integration, extensive PHP programming/Web integration, strong html skills, MySQL development skills, and a background in working with multi-level marketing/affiliate type payout programming is a major plus. The programmer must have strong math skills as well.
Other skills also a plus.
The skill level would have to be quite high, as this is a not a project for someone with minimal programming skills.
