Hello, my name is Landon Cowling. I am an experienced web hoster who has been in the industry for a little over four years now.
I have offered a wide range of web hosting software with my previous web hosting company which was sold due to my interest
in this project, I have offered the latest versions of cPanel, WHM, Plesk, and much more to my customers. Recently I have developed
and interest in having a programmer create a forum web hosting software for a company I wish to open soon.
I would like to have forum software created on which I may sale the software to customers to provide the elite community forum hosting solution on the internet. A company on which may be used as an example with this project is Invision Power Services popular forum web hosting software Invision Power Board (IPB). I would like to have a software created nearly the same as Invision Power Board though with many more administration options to offer an elite service to clients at a low cost. I would like for the over all "look" of the software to nearly match Invision Power Board though with my companies personal touches and additional service options as well to provide better service. We are not trying to mimic Invision Power Board though it is an elite company upon which we would like to relate to if possible with your programming services. I do ask that you are experienced with the Invision Power Board software so that you may understand what it is that I would like from the programmer. I also require you have previous experience and would be able to offer showing of your previous work.
With the creation of the software I would also like for a company management software to be created so that I may control all forums our business has registered to users , I would like to have simple options in an elite software which will allow me to create forum web hosting packages with our software, create forum accounts, suspend and terminate accounts, upgrade and downgrade accounts and much more. You must be able to install the software you create for my company to our server with the management system intact. To put the terms in basic under standing you must be able to place the software and management system on a server which will permit me to sale private forum accounts to customers with our software as Invision Power Services has done in the past through our server.
I would like to have the option (with in the management system) to remove copy rights on certain forums who have purchased copy right removal, thought users must not be able to do this there self’s, this must only be able to be performed through the management system. I would also like the option to add elite additional services such as a Forum Gallery users may place on there forums, and personal blog software in which users may allow members of there forums to create blogs under their domain name (for an additional fee) using our forum web hosting software and blog software which you will be responsible for creating if possible, this must also
be able to be controlled via the company management system.
In addition to the creation above I would also like for the programmer to design a professional web site for the company to promote our software and a web hosting account creation form. On the web site I would like for a form to be create upon which users supply information for there web hosting account with our software and all information supplied is sent to our company email address to activate the accounts with payment. cPanel 9.9 software will also be placed on the server by the server provider, the web site will be uploaded via cpanel ftp by you if possible. Please be sure that you know how to install the forum software and management system on our service with cPanel Software so that we are permitted to sale the software via the management system.
We would also like the option to have to be able to resell the management system so that we may offer a reseller program in which users may resell our forum software and additional services, resellers must not be able to resell reseller accounts, this option to create reseller account must only be available in the main system.
As im sure you noticed this is a large project which should take months to complete, your services would be greatly appreciated. There are a few options for your payment for your services. You are more than welcome to receive %10 of our income for lifetime, or I may pay you for your services via monthly money order until the software is created. If you choose our Profit Share you will receive a larger and continuous additional income rather than the direct limited monthly payment option. With the offered services you should receive a steady income, in the event in which you feel as if you are not profiting as well as you should we would be happy to switch you to our direct payment option as you wish.
Please only apply if you are serious for the creation of the software, our company is purchasing a large office space to dedicate to the business and we are hiring local employees to assist our company as needed. Many months of planning has gone into the company and will continue until our opening in mid year. We will also come to you for all of our future projects and forum software upgrades.
