Brief Description
SolidPHP, Inc. are looking to hire a number of PHP developers to develop a number of small scripts and fulfil our custom programming contracts. You should be experienced in writing clean, manageable, commented code as well as interacting with and using MySQL databases. We are looking to form long term relationship’s with a number of programmers in order to complete our projects. We are looking for programmers who are used to working remotely and independently as well as working as part of a larger team working towards a common goal.
Duties
SolidPHP, Inc are currently looking to expand our services and product range as well as completing our backlog of custom programming contracts which have been piling up over the past number of weeks. As a PHP developer you will report to SolidPHP Inc’s Operations Manager. Your duties would include:
• Developing scripts for future resale by SolidPHP, Inc.
• Developing or updating scripts used internally
• Developing, testing, completing or editing scripts being custom developed for our clients
• Coding clean, efficient and commented PHP code at all stages
• Testing new releases to our current and upcoming new scripts.
Detailed Requirements
Before you will be eligible for a position, you will need to meet the following requirements:
• Ability to develop code that runs under both PHP4 and PHP5, which interacts with MySQL databases.
• HTML/CSS skills. We prefer clean, tidy and functional HTML/CSS. XHTML experience is a bonus but not required.
• Good communication and time management skills. You must have good written English skills.
• Ability to be contacted via email as well as instant messaging services (AOL instant messenger preferred, but Yahoo, MSN or ICQ are fine).
Future prospects
We are a fast growing company and so there will be the opportunity to move to a more senior position and take on a larger role within SolidPHP, Inc in the future. We will shortly be expanding into new areas and so we will require talented, like-minded and enthusiastic individuals to manage and grow these new areas.
Payment
Payment will be made via Paypal based upon the number of hours worked. We are however flexible on payment and are more than happy to discuss payment terms with the chosen developer.

SolidPHP is a small, family owned business located in Wilmington, North Carolina USA on the East Coast (EST/UTC/GMT -5 hours).
Our software and services are geared towards the Linux marketplace. We have a strong background and history of success in developing commercial PHP applications both as internal SolidPHP products and under contract. Our most successful and widely known contracted project is the WHM AutoPilot project, a billing and invoicing system for web hosts. We are also the developers of the PHPAudit licensing and distribution system, a script for php developers to license, protect, distribute and sell their commercial PHP scripts.
