hey everyone,

I'm seriously thinking of upgrading my website to be a php based website, as php is the future of the internet, and html is going out of fashion.

Problem is, I don't know anything about php, and I know enough html to get me by. I'm just an amateur but I run a successful automotive website, ExoticCarSite.com.

Since my website sort of looks like a portal page as it is, I was wondering if I would be able to employ someone to do up my website, in php form?

Basically I want it to look the same as it does now on the homepage, but with a login section [for in the near future when I wish to create exclusive stuff for members] forum integration [IPB2 or PHPBB2+] etc.

Here's where it starts to get to the tricky part.... I have approximately 10,000 - 15,000 [in 1600x1200 resolution] images on the website...... I need an image module that can display the images in a certain size that the user chooses, if that makes sense... So the page comes up [something similiar to this, but with the thumbnails at the top - http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/lexus_is350.asp], and when you click on one of the thumbnails, another page shows up, asking if you want the image to be displayed in 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, or the full size 1600x1200. I know that there is php scripts available that enable this by using just the ONE 1600x1200 resolution image.
When you click on what size your after, it displays the image [in a pop up or not, I don't really care] with the Fastclick and google ads around it. And when you click on the image, it returns to the previous page, or if its a popup, it closes it.

I wish to be able to display google ads & fastclick ads on the site also, but later in time, I wish to introduce a "premium membership" type thing where there will be no ads for premium users.

I also wish to run an IPB2 forum [prefferably].
I also wish to implement a user gallery [much like coppermine or the popular one found at sourceforge.net etc] for users to display images they take.

I wish to keep everything similiar where possible to the website now, but in php format.

I was thinking PHP nuke, or Sub dreamer [subdreamer.com - as this site here uses subdreamer and it is sort of similiar to what I want, I guess.

Willing to pay, as I don't think anyone is crazy enough to do it for free.

hey everyone.

I have received your emails, and I put them off, because I was just going to introduce a resizing script for the pictures for the time being, but I have just learnt, one of my main rivals is going to PHP, so I want to get this up and running ASAP.

I get paid via Paypal on the 24th of every month. So if anyone feels they can complete what I'm after before then, let me know! I want to get it up and running by the first of the following month, so that'd be....June, the first of June.

If anyone can sort of quote me how much it will cost, to do it all, add all the cars pages, details / specifications, press releases, all the pictures [I dont want to re-upload all my pictures again, so if anyone can utilise the folder which contains all the pictures, please do], basically everything in PHP.

If anyone has any idea how much this would cost approximately let me know, because I have a budget of a about $300 to work with.

I was going to run something similiar to this on the site, but I would like to integrate this onto the new PHP layout page.

Something similiar to that, but when you hit save image, the the Save Image As box comes up etc. A few Banners around the top n bottom and maybe even the side.

This is ultimately what I want.
