Hello all,
First post - I have inherited a webpage www.shastarogue.org. Anyways, I am familiar with html, but not php and this page is mostly php. I have figured out the cute news part, but I am having trouble with all the links. They all tell me that the database is missing or something similar. Could someone take a look and point me in the right direction. A million thanks!

The only thing I found that has some errors was the forum. Does the forum have a MySQL database? Does the forum user have the correct MySQL permissions? It is a good idea that when you post, you include some more info. What part of the site is giving yout errors? I know about the forum.

This must be where my inexperience with php lies. I can tell you that at one time the board did exist, and it did work. I only changed passwords for the website and now things are not working. The links at the top do not work. Forums, Events and Articles.


From my html experience a link should point to a specific page, The forums points to a page www.shastarogue.org/forums. Which in my hierarchy there is such a folder and inside there are php files.

I guess I am trying to figure out where in the page this is supposed to point to so that I know it should work.

The only experience I have with forum boards are with companies like ez board. Anyways thanks for the help again.

Well...I not sure what you did, but the forum and everthing are now woking. Anyways glad everthing is working. Oh yeah, I would stop using CuteNews, I have heard of some people getting hacked.

I changed the password to match the password for the admin account. Weird. What would you recommend besides cute news?
