Experts, Advisors, Gurus, Consultants Needed.
Hi,
We are currently recruiting computer experts, gurus, consultants, advisors, or anyone that knows a great deal about any of the categories listed below.
* Database Applications
* Excel - We list this one as a separate category because we see a lot of problems that need to be addressed in this category.
* Computer Problems
* Web Design
* Software
* Hardware
* Programming
* Security
* Networking
* Gaming
* Scripting
* eCommerce
* Wireless & Mobile
* Research
* Internet
How are you paid?
The person asking the computer related question sets the amount they want to pay (min $10) & (max $300) and if you are interested in answering the query, you can accept the amout they are offering or you can counter their offer and if they accept you can then give the answer. The visitor asking the question must pay for the answer before they can see it, once they see the answer and accept it you are paid 60% of the total they bid for the question, and any tips are 100% yours.
Everyone states that their site is open 24/7 and technically speaking it is, but that does not mean that someone will be available 24/7 and because we want a true 24/7 site we do encourage persons in different time zones to apply. This way we will have someone available 24/7, give or take a Sat or Sun.
It's not rocket science, the more questions you answer the more you get paid. Answer prices range from $10 up to $300. You can request your monies once your account reaches $20 and we currently pay via Pay Pal which will be changing to authorize.net within the next couple of months.
If you want to make some extra money please fax your resume or verifiable credentials to 404-601-9776 (Attn: Mr. Haines) if you are selected we will contact you. Please include your email address. If you have more questions or concerns plese feel free to PM me. *If you are outside of the US please provide references of persons you have worked with in the US or projects you have done or anything that can show us you are an exceptional candidate.
*If you are rude, have no tact, a short temper, and lack of basic customer service skills, and think some questions are dumb, please do NOT apply,
because we are anal about customer service, and we believe there are no dumb questions.
Looking forward to working with you,
Mr. J. Haines

Let me see if I understand you correctly. I would do the work, have the technical know-how and you earn $120 while I earn $180? Subtract the percentage Pay pal is going to charge me for even accepting payment and what does that leave? You earn $120 bucks to sit back and offer nothing more than paying $10 a year for a domain and another 10 bucks a month for hosting? Sounds like you are re-inventing the wheel hint: elance.com.
I think if you lower your cut, people would be more willing to sign up. I mean, afterall, the average percentage agents receive for:
famous actors in Hollywood = 10%.
An agent for U.S. Athletes = 20%
-------------------------------
YOU = priceless / unbelieveable
But, good luck in your efforts and I hope you the best! You however, have made me think about using a script I wrote for a company trying to emulate elance.com and starting up services.

In Response To Your Post
Thanks for your comment. Just to clarify a few things. The person asking the question decides how much your answer is worth to them not us. 60% is the least you can earn and 75% is the most you can earn. I do believe the commissions for NBA, NHL, NFL, Actors, and the like seem low because you are dealing with millions not $10-$300.
Unlike a lot of online only businesses we advertise offline. Google, Yahoo and the like are not our only marketing venues, actually most of our current business comes from offline advertising.
In regard to us doing nothing but sitting back and collecting money, you are definitely wrong there. We bust our butts finding new advertising venues offline. I am not sure when you ran your last offline advertisement but it is costly. We don't open a site to the public and just sit and hope someone comes to it we are very pro-active, because if our advisors are not making money we are not making money.
In regard to the PayPal fees, we have to pay them as well because we receive the initial payment and then pay our advisors, this is why we are switching to authorize.net, and you are not paying for advertising we are.
We already have sign-ups we just wanted a few more to sweeten the pot, we want a total of 10, this is why I came here with the offer. We are only looking for 3-5 more advisors. I am not in the business of trying to force someone to make money, and if no one here wants to be a part of this, trust me, there are no hard feelings at all.
If you have an idea about a script you built for someone, I say go for it, because your Determination Determines your Destiny.
Have a good one

Again.. if you have that many agents then why does your cut need to compare to the ones doing the work?
It still doesn't make sense.
Either way goodluck.. but I doubt anyone here will be interested.

The is a company called Kelley Temp Services, Inc. that is a national company. What you are doing is the same that they have been doing offline for many, many years. Yet in still, they only get 10%.
Have you thought about the "agents" having to pay taxes of up to 28%?
You are trying to run an online service, but on this board you have claims of working your "butts" off and spending various monies in marketing offline. So in summary, you are going to spend your money effortlessly. Why? Because with your "offline" spending, the very same "offline" clients will still have to come "online" to do business. ( But I bet that you will have a work-around for that... )
Could you tell us and the potential "agents" reading this thread, what your contingency plan is for when a client agrees to pay an "agent" for work performed and then performs a chargeback? It happens all the time with Paypal, ebay and likely any other online company. Will the "agent" have to repay that fee? Will clients have the ability to pay "offline" and if so, how does the "agent" know that you have received payment and will be paid.
I hope you don't think someone is just trying to un-nerve you, I'd like to think that we may be assisting in the "fine-tuning" of your business model. You have something doable, but at your rates, and depending on your answers to my questions above, I doubt success. It would be a helluva article about telecommuting opportunies in the Wall Street Journal.
