This is a great opportunity to work on some cool tools for the PS3. Join a team in Foster City, CA working on a cutting-edge framework for game tool authoring and asset pipelines, as well as finished PC client-side tools. Some platform work possible but this position requires a passion and love for developing large-scale PC-Based GUI-driven applications. Tools built (or being built) with this framework include... Level Editors, Character Animation Blend Tools, Destructibles Editor, Cinematics Tool, Terrain/Road Editor, Audio Design Tool, IDE/Developer tools, Sound Effect design tool, and Shader Tools Candidate may also work on reusable middleware libraries for use by the PS3 game teams and/or the team's internal demo framework to test the different runtime libraries.
You must be strong (senior level) in the following to be considered:
- C#/.NET 2.0 expert
- Strong C++
- Windows Forms expert
- Strong object-oriented design skills
Pluses:
- XML/Schemas
- Game Asset Pipeline knowledge
- 3D Graphics
Please Note:
- This position is a 6 month ONSITE contract (there is a great chance the term of the contract will be extended or possible perm conversion)
- The hourly rate range is $50-60/hr DOE. Time+1/2 for overtime.
