QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university; three years of related experience
•Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals to solve problems
•Ability to be a team player
•Knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional, including Smart Notebook, Photoshop, Premiere, PHP and MySQL
•Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to achieve the goals of the position
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to work productively under pressure
•Ability to communicate technical information, procedures, and requirements to technical and non-technical users
•Ability to analyze situations accurately and develop an effective course of action
BASIC FUNCTIONS
•Maintain lab schedule and reservations to support teacher and district departmental training
•Organize teacher training to support district technology integration initiatives
•Collaborate with district departments to identify relevant technology training needs and devise possible solutions
•Facilitate and train teachers and staff regarding various software applications
•Create publications (print, online, and video) to advertise training
•Monitor participant registration/sign-in for technology training classes (both afterschool and occasionally on Saturday’s)
•Monitor evaluation procedures and documents related to technology training classes
•Prepare various reports for district, state, and national expectations of Title II Part D
•Monitor various databases of teacher training and hardware information
•Implement and track goals of NCLB (Enhancing Education Through Technology) Title II Part D regarding teacher training and technology use
•Oversee basic maintenance of departmental computer labs used for training
•Develop and manage training materials including handouts, online materials, and CD/DVD’s
•Create/manage online processes using MySQL and PHP
•Perform all duties relating to the Title II Part D grant at 100%
•Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
