• Part of a small team to expand an existing site architecture and
infrastructure, backend development using open source toolset (PHP,
PostgreSQL, MySQL, Apache, Linux and others (i.e LAMP), front end
development with CSS and HTML/XHTMLSQL
• Designed and implemented a PHP web application to automatically load data
and generate COBRA letters for terminated employees of Health Plans’
insurance customers. The COBRA letters incorporated eligibility requirements
for the U.S. Government’s 2010 Economic Stimulus act, and included complex
data investigation. The technology utilized included VS 2005 VB.Net, SQL
Server 2005, SQL Server Reporting Services, JQuery, javascript, and SQL
Server Reporting Services to generate .pdf files.
• Designed and implemented an JSP-SQL program to allow nurses to collect
health-information from individuals on-site at client’s facilities using small
Notebook computers. Created individual print-out reports so that nurses could
easily print out and hand the health information to each participating member.
Created a summary report for the client. The technology utilized included css,
SQL Server 2005.
• Designed and implemented a VB.Net web application to automate the
creation and update of client information. The program included designing
and implementing web-based forms to collect and update over 800 items of
information for each client; as well as design and implement the SQL Server
2005 database to store all the information. The technology utilized included
PHP 5, MY SQL, JQuery, AJAX, and javascript.
• Led the IS Automation effort to create web-based access to internal programs
and allow end-users to run programs themselves, rather than make frequent
