[Design Reactor]

Design Reactor is currently seeking talented PHP/Drupal Developers who are creative problem solvers and excel in delivering smart code, quality work, and strong best practices. We're looking for smart people who are well organized, highly responsible with great follow through and understand how to cultivate a good team rapport, manage their schedules and deliver an excellent internal customer experience by over delivering and under promising. These offshore individuals will be part of a U.S.-based development team whose direct report and technical lead will be based in the U.S. They will work closely with, as well as report to, and take direction from the U.S.-based technical lead to ensure that overall project and client objectives are being met.
Hours: Standard work hours are 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM Pacific Time.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop efficient, smart, quality PHP code that is well organized and potentially reusable and modular
• Estimate task completion dates and level of effort required for a project
• Create/modify/backup Drupal MySQL databases
• Document work
• Serve Drupal data to client applications using RPC or Drupal view
• Develop custom Drupal themes
• Write secure code
• Communicate potential vulnerabilities in the deliverables
• Implement projects based on design comps
• Participate in team meetings via Skype

Required Skills
• Work in LAMP or WAMP
• Develop and/or modify Drupal modules
• Develop CSS for custom Drupal themes
• Comfortable generating Drupal views in XML and JSON
• Proficient CSS, AJAX / JQuery
• Proficient using Drupal RPC/Services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt and willing to pick up new techniques and technology
• Must be able to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology and its effects to the business environment
• Must be thorough and precise in their work
• Ability to work individually or in a team to beat tight deadlines
• Ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of international web standards and protocols
• Solid writing skills and the ability to effectively document code for clear communication of functionality
• Highly organized and excellent in following up in a timely manner
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Good working attitude
• Independent, self-starter
Key Points
• This is a work-from-home or remote position
• Must have a computer and at least 2 Mbps internet connection
• Must use Skype and have a solid VoIP internet phone connection
