Exclamation Accepting bids for hosting site re-design and ModernBill setup/integration

Square Network is about to take on a new marketing campaign and is looking for a fresh look to go along with it. The only thing that will be kept will be our logo and possibly a color scheme coordinating with our logo.

What is needed:

Site redesign and cleanly coded HTML, not just a PSD with HTML generated by Photoshop. Actually have text when you Lorem Ipsum, not images with Lorem Ipsum written over and over.

No music what-so-ever. Flash is optional, but not preferred. However, if you do use flash, a minimum of it should be used. Our site should be easy on dial-up users and nothing is worse than waiting on some flash header to load up.

Subpages should included graphics unique for each page. We have a variety of offerings including domain registration, web hosting, computer services and repairs and I'm *considering* moving into offering reseller packages as well.

"Getting your website online just got easier" is our motto. It should be integrated with the site. "Meeting needs and exceeding expectations" is another.

We don't use Sun Microsystems servers, so don't use those pictures of them in what you offer us.

Installation, setup and integration of ModernBill into the site. I intend to move from our current billing system to MB.

Our EdgePanel help desk design will remain the same, however I would like the link to our help desk to become more prominate on the site.

Essentially, what I am wanting is for someone to take what we have now and give it a facelift along with doing the ModernBill install and customization. I simply don't have the time to get ModernBill running. I am willing to go with two seperate people on this project if someone can design an excellent site, but isn't familiar with ModernBill. And conversely as well.

Please reply to this thread with your estimated costs of doing the project, along with either a sample of what you would like to do with the site or a link to your current portfolio. Also, everyone understand that I'm only looking at estimates here. The project may or may not include additional tasks and I know I haven't included exact details on every little thing that can come up. I'm just looking for a ballpark figure and I'm not looking for anything within any specific budget.

"Contact me for a quote" and "I'm interested, email me at..." type posts will be ignored. Additionally, please do not PM me with your offers, I would prefer that they be posted here.

So, all that being said, let the quotes begin.

I'll be honest in that I'm not familiar ModernBill but have been willing to learn on working with that script.

My bids are:

$100 (site redesign)
$280 (site redesign + modernbill integration)

Are you just looking to "skin" modernbill or are you looking to actually create your own console area with more features then what Mbill provides?

Customization and integration into Mbill is difficult to say the least, and doing anything takes many man hours even skinning.

My staff members are experts at all aspects of skinning and customizing
MBill, it's a royal pain in the ***.

My ICQ is 63881097 "Contact me for a quote"

Not to sidestep the thread but...

You think I really want to? I've been to my share of sites where you have outsourcers saying they'll do work for $2.50/hour or do a $7000 PHP job for only $200. It's a sad way to compete, but since too many people believe they can get away with buying the world for cheap, sometimes your stuck with just wanting something to do.

Too true, I sometimes forget my 'normal rates' because you have to keep lowering yours to get the work.

I now quote $15 US an hour, which is close to $20 NZ at the moment. So I am not exactly quoting peanuts.

Dear SN-Coach,

I would love to undertake your redesign project. I have great experience in this field and have undertaken redesign projects before. My portfolio currently includes:

http://www.eifssupply.com
http://www.imagineusa.org
http://retro.miskie.net

and I am currently working on (Still in development, some bugs may still be present):

http://houston.0designs.com
http://www.0designs.com/cc/index.html
http://www.0designs.com/reunion/index.html

The estimated cost for the redesign for me would be about $500 (US) for the design and $200 (US) for 1 year of upkeep.
