I have a need to contract out to have some work done. I guess my 1st question is there a template to write-up a RFP?
I want to create a site to deliver streaming video content. The information I intend to deliver would basically be a "Video Bio" with a front-end search to narrow/seek-out specific video(s). Some other key aspects would be:
- Subscriber based (not allow anyone to access without 1st registering; however, if a person knew the reference number assigned to a specific video bio, they would be able to reference that specific one.
While I need to write-up the interface and other features I need, I can show what the final results would basically look like. Those interested might want to look at:
http://www.clipstream.com/demo/video/j/jsf/index.shtml
- My video(s) will be using features such as secondary content timed to the video and ability to navigate to specific segments.
I'd be 1st interested in knowing where I can get a template/sample RFP along the lines of writting one that would be developed in PHP/MySQL.
Going into some other details I would need:
- Admin interface for myself
- A "lite" admin where a submittor can provide upload to me the components I would need to produce site contents. (i.e. video segments I would merge or photos I would animate plus the secondary content that would appear as video where to play and information that would allow me to categorize and subsequently drive a front-end search.
- A world-class user interface. My goal would be to have a database to contain a "video bio/profile" on ANY subject. Once categorized, I would have different domains access the database via modified interfaces.
For example:
A)
www.sample-restaurant-reviews.com might be a site to access a video profile for restaurant reviews
B)
www.sample-business-resumes.com might be a site find a video resume of a person
My goal, video(s) like the Joint Strike Force demo noted above but controlled by a robust database. The database would have the parameters needed to deliver the final page(s) but also enough information so that it can be categorized and susequently referenced from multiple points of entry where-by the search fields themself are database driven (i.e. for restaurant one can search on cusine served, while for a business resume, one might search on keywords related to skills).
So, if there are persons(s) whom might have a interest in such a project and a template on how to best document my requirements, please contact me as follows:
