PHP/MySQL Programming Needed

I need to build a website. The body of it can look pretty much like this: http://www.thespeakersgroup.com .

But while that site is not database-driven, I need one that is. Check out: http://www.thespeakersgroup.com/davidcorbin.cfm .

On my new site, I will have about 75 pages like that to start, each for a different speaker. Rather than build each page individually, I want to have each speaker's info in a database, and then have a template populated by that data to create individual pages.

That link above will give you an idea of the fields needed in the database: biography, photo (or link to photo), fee (integer), etc.

Then I need a search function on the site. Something like this: http://www.premierespeakers.com/search.cfm (rather than the Yahoo-like topic listing, though, I would rather have a drop-down with about 10 preset topics which a visitor can choose from).

An added bonus that would be nice would be for my speakers to be able to pull up a form and input their own info into the database, and then let me approve it before it goes "live" on the site.

I know my way around Dreamweaver a little bit, so I could probably build the page template, but I have no clue how to use PHP to pull data from the database to populate the pages, how to write a search function, or anything like that.

Free help would be great, but I'm also open to quotes on what you would charge to help me.

Thanks.

Hello ellis5149,

I am interested in the job! I am willing to design the website and handle the PHP/MySQL programming as well. I have the ability to make the module to handle the speakers database, search function, and speaker addition form. Since you say that you arent very skilled in PHP/MySQL, I can also make you an 'admin' module for handling the database easily. If you want to hire me, please email me. If you have any websites you would like to model the design of yours after, please include them in the email along with a description of all possible content that will go into the website.

I am currently working on a portfolio but until then here are examples of my work.
http://www.premonitionstudios.com
http://www.shockt.net
http://www.parkwestproperties.com
http://www.tahoevacationcabin.com
All of the websites above were fully designed and coded by me.

Hope to hear from you,
Kevin
