$Mailserver script not working

Greetings,
I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm using a pre-packaged cgi scripting program on a Win2K server. I have created a form, to be filled out by the user and submitted through email. I have installed Perl to support the program and followed the instructions to a tee. I have verified rights and have set up my SMTP server to relay from the web site. The form pops up and when I hit submit the web site home pages loads, as configured. However, the email never gets sent. It's not even getting to my SMTP server. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
