250 MB vs 1 GB, theres no competition here. Gmail still rules. As superprogrammer have said, "its too late". I think Yahoo should come up with something new to stop users from transfering to Gmail. Something really cool..

I have a few Gmail accounts.
I use the POP3 that is available on my accounts, not all have POP3 support yet which is kinda sucky.
I have never had a Yahoo! email account, the site always looked bloated for me.
I however don't get the amazement of 1gb. You see I get a few emails (50-200 a day), but that's lucky if it goes over 5mb in total.
So what do I seriously need the rest of the space for?

You are right, 1GB is a lot. But I don't think a lot of the people switch just because of space, I found it to be faster then Yahoo, also it's new so you get a chance at the name you want instead of 'bob13436634@yahoo.com'. It also has POP3 and an incredable search feature!

I could care less about the space, I can't stand the ads that yahoo has on its' mail accounts. Google has AdSense, no biggie.
I have a mortgage. I have two cars. I have a cell phone and good service.
That's all Yahoo! ever advertises about and it pisses me off.
Thank God, for Google.
