Great site.... Hotscripts is a great resource for finding applications when you need them.

As a designer, I am frequently in need of programming to help me meet the needs of clients.

I have been searching for several apps without luck. Then I noticed this forum and thought I'd ask for help.

Now, there wasn't a topic "Need help finding software solutions" or at least it wasn't that forthright. If these type questions should be asked elsewhere please direct me to the right category. Otherwise I could use some help finding solutions for...


Situation one...
I'm looking for a software solution which will generate images from input text. The generated image should also change per font, color and effect selected. There must be places to add additional fields such as size, quantity, etc. and be purchased online. The application will be installed on a linux/unix system running Apache/MySQL/PHP 4+. This is for a vinyl graphics service.


Situation two...
I'm working with a company which wants to give FREE space to their visitors. I'm looking for a solution which will be installed on their domain and allow user to sign up for space, and modify the content of pre-created pages. Users solution should be web/admin section and would like to set bandwidth and storage limits. The application will be installed on a linux/unix system running Apache/MySQL/PHP 4+.


Insight- You know if you haven't thought about it already maybe if you add the topic for finding software solutions you could somehow figure out a way to charge programers a listening fee. I'm sure they would jump at the chance to directly sell their products to people who are looking. You could maybe set up a seperate Consultation service.

Search for a script called "FreeHomePage" "FreeWebSpace" or something around those lines.. (Sorry I don't know the exact name) But I downloaded a script like this a while ago from this site. I never installed it, so I can't say if its good, but I know that type of script should be around this site somewhere.
