Slicing images from a finished work

Im creating a wicked webpage in photoshop, the layout looks nice and professional and I dont want anything to screw it up. Im at a stage where I can start slicing it. Which program does it better Adobe photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks. I need some people's opinions. Please reply back.

Photoshop CS2 ver 9.0 is the best.

It's what I use, I bought a copy of Macromedia Studio MX 2004 (Well overprived) tries it for a day and then uninstalled it. Still got the CD makes a good coaster, and rightly should for the price!

Photoshop makes it so easy to do, yeah it makes a few HTML errors along the way, but it's easy to fix.

Use Adobe ImageReady to slice; has many slicing options as compared to photoshop itself.

The thing I find upsetting is when I make a small slice it screws it up. But if I make a big one then its fine.
