DomainState.com - Domain discussion forum

It's a strong forum site with PR4 but this dude is using <meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow"> all over the pages including the homepage, if you query "site:domainstate.com" on Google, you can see there's just the homepage that's indexed. Actually not fully indexed but just a stub or something.

The owner is really weird. Ain't this the easiest SEO disaster?

The robots.txt is consistent with the meta tag.

It looks like a big, established forum. They may see no value in letting search engines crawl their site. There are no ads, so they apparently only want members on the site, and they don't want people other than members using their tools.

Everyone is different.

Very strange. There are a few other sites like that that I have seen. Maybe ulterior motives?

The real strange thing is that is a really crowded forum like wirehopper said ...maybe it's only known by people who're on topic or something specific .
