With Amazon's resources and low prices everyone, both big and small, are jumping on board. Smugmug decided to do so and within 24hrs found a way to use these services and saved about 500k....Now anyone could provide good quality media experience with these services. There it's a small problem for some, Amazon does not deliver secured content/ files to a private URL. It seems they've decided to let outside developers come up with their own solutions and plug-ins to deal with this issue. I've looked at some plug-ins, both free for sale, and found no answer to my dilemma. This it's my dilemma;
If a membership site allows upload of media files, and members to select a security option for each individual file, (e.g. only me, me and friends, everyone, etc.), how do I make use of Amazon amazing resources maintaining the security settings set by members on the site? Thus providing an exquisite media experience while maintaining the highest security level....I'm sure there has to be a solution available. The fact that Smugmug did it tells me that I have not looked hard enough. If anyone could guide me to finding the answers I seek, I would be grateful. thank you.
