Post Become a HotScripts.com Editor

HotScripts.com is currently recruiting volunteer editors to join its team. If you have a passion for open source, web development technologies or web scripts, here's your chance to be part of a recognized authority in the web development community and contribute in building a better comprehensive directory.

We have the following open positions:

1. Directory Editors

As a directory editor, your role will be to manage a particular sub-category on HotScripts. You will be in charge of:
  • Moderating new listing submissions in your category.

  • Canvass and add new resources.
  • Approve reviews, ratings and responses.
  • Ensure that current links are up-to-date.
  • Suggest new sub-categories or features.

2. Blog and Guide Editors

HotScripts is wanting articles, tutorials, reviews and guides related to web development, web design and online business. As a blog or guide editor, you will be able author content that will make a valuable addition to our site and community. Any content you contribute will be accompanied with a brief bio, image/logo and link to your site.

So what’s in it for me?

While these positions are volunteer-based, we'd still like to offer you other forms of compensation for the time and effort that you will put in:
  • Full attribution on our directory and blog with links to your profile page or site.
  • Graphic badges for use on your site or on other online communities.
  • Discount on HotScripts advertising (banners, newsletter and enhanced listings)
  • Selected discounts on other iNET Interactive Network (services, products, publications and events)
  • Free gifts like HotScripts merchandise or Amazon Gift Certificates for top contributing editors.

What type of requirements do I need to meet?

You don't need to be an expert in any particular field, just be enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in a particular or broad range of web development subjects.

How do I join?

Secure your place as one of our contributing editors today! Submit your application by sending me a Private Message or email.
