For me Mac Book because it is more reliable and convenient. You can do other stuff such as installing softwares, do programming and taking pictures that Ipad can't give you.

You can install software on the iPad. There are ~65.000 apps in the AppStore. Plus there's more if you Jailbreak.

Programming will be easier once Velocity IDE is released. Although, I think it'll be limited to C languages.

The iPad 2 (released 3 days ago) can take pictures. But that's a rather silly point. When did you take pictures with your MacBook the last time? ;p

The iPad is no replacement for a real computer, but it definitely makes things easier (for me at least). I would definitely recommend it.

I think they're pretty useful for the most part. I do own both--iPad is mainly just for "viewing" and a MacBook would be for everything else. I honestly wouldn't be able to just get by with the pad because there's documents or things I need to actually type on. But I could live without out the pad...that's just for display and looks.

As per my view and my experience mac book is more better than ipad because because It’s made of rugged polycarbonate that withstands the rough and tumble of everyday life at school, at work or while traveling.
