Hello all,

I have searched the web high and low looking for music files to add to a postcard (ecard) application that I am using. The problem is that it is a jungle out there on the net and it is difficult to know whether a piece of music is legal to use or not?

Can anybody reccomend a website where I can legally (May use without royalties ect.) and preferably (free) download music files. I am looking for .mid files but anything else is of interest.

I hope somebody is able to help me out here

well i know of a midi place that has good midis. not sure if midis are illegal since its not really copied music been awhile since i been to it but its:

All music is copyright protected unless it is explicitly stated otherwise.
The person who made the MIDI file isn't necessarily the copyright holder. Try commercially using a Michael Jackson or Madonna song in MIDI format and you'll be able to use an egg-timer to count how long it takes the RIAA to hunt you down like a dawg.
