resizing screen....

Hi.

Is there a way where i can kind of like...ummmm.... make the proportions of my computer screen smaller? I have some webpages that i want to save as pictures, but in order to that right now i have to print the screen like two times, paste it into photoshop, and then piece them together.

What would be really good is if i could make the viewing proportions smaller or whatever, so then i could view the whole pgae on the screen.

Know what i mean?

Thanks,
Jason

So, do you want to go higher res or lower? Like 800x600, or 1024x768?

Well in either case, all you have to do is click on your wallpaper (not an icon), and go to properties. Then, from there, click on the settings tab. In here, you should see a section called "Screen Resolution" with a slider bar. Move the bar in the direction that you want. Click apply (if not using Win ME+) and then click ok.

You might get a thing that pops up saying something like "Do you like this?" or "You need to restart in order for the change to take effect". In anycase, click ok....

There you go, that's all there is to it. And I bet you thought it would be hard.

Why not do a screen capture from Photoshop. Then you don't have to change your screen resolution.

There was a reason why i coudnt do it in photosho (that was my first way to go)

And the properties thing worked but it actually wasnt small enough!

Thankfully i also asked on webhostingtalk.com and they said to get MyIE2(a web browser) and you can change the size on there. I did and i just have to say that MyIE2 is so awsome. Its far better than mozilla, and more features.

Everybody should check it out!

Thanks,
Jason
