Hi,

I'm new to this forums and I work as a web developer. I build mainly simple applications involving php and mysql. I have my own webdesign company together with a friend who takes the role of the designing.

I subscribed to this board cause some times (not a lot) I bump into problems which I can't solve by searching for solutions on the internet. I hope someone will be able to help me out then

I started out doing only design, having a background in painting. I was always afraid of programming, but now I do both.

The one thing I've found in learning various languages is not to try to find the one pre-written script that does everything. Find a simple script or tutorial that you can expand on. You'll learn more and in the long run it will be easier to integrate with your other modules.
