Newbie With A Problem At Hand

Hi to you all
I'm a guy of 23 yrs from england. I've been a business student for a while and just decided to go into computer studies - programming to be precise.

I am currently creating a online booking systems for a cinema company. Microsoft rather Linux is to be used for creating this software. Tools like VB, ASP, HTML, MS ACCESS, ETC COULD BE USED.

The system should be designed using a simple graphical interface. The seat plan is provided as it appears in the theatre. Each seat can be clicked on and booked in a few simple steps. Seats that are available are displayed blue and can be clicked on to select for booking. When a seat is booked, customer details are entered or selected from a customer database. A seats turn red within the displayed page to show that they are now booked. Red seats booked could not be clicked for booking. Seats can be unbooked individually or by removing all the seats made for a particular booking reference.

This is all about the project. Has anyone found anything like that somewhere? Could some here help me in this project?
