Smile Hello from PA

Hello to everyone,

I am mainly here to gain some insight into programming. I operate my own website but am having some problems with some software intergration. If someone could point me in the right direction for problems with shopping cart and gateway intergration, it would be greatly appreciated. Any help will be beneficial.

Thank you,
becpa

my hosting company bright builders, their shoppingcart software is not compatiable with my payment processor, paymentclearing.org, so all orders must be done by hand. I have just been informed that I can not have anyone else (not even myself) do the programming except for my hosting company. Am I am still waiting to see how much it is going to cost me. So I think that it is time to change hosting companies. Any suggestions?

Still have some questions.
1. What is your current shopping cart. Want to know if it is easy to transfer to mine.

2. paymentclearing.org : This nothing but a rebranded private gateway from http://merchant-pay.com/solution.html It has to hook up to authorize.net, transact or one of the popular gateways.

Read this portion from http://merchant-pay.com/whoweare.html
"we market our solution exclusively through strategic relationships with ISOs, MSPs, and a few select, high volume ISPs and Web Hosting companies."
The ploy is to lock you in while the claim they are solving the solution.
http://merchant-pay.com/solution.html

Now, connecting to these people may be simple, but since I'am not privy to their 'select few' cabal and they are not willing to provide information it is unlikely you will get help unless you follow their bidding.

My recommendation is to drop them like a hot potato . And go with something more open and popular. You don't want your business to be limited and this would it would be difficult for you to prosper if your held down for no good reason. Its your business you should call the shots not them.

3. Hosting and also support for shopping cart software. Look at my signature. There is a demo shopping cart. I will be happy to provide uptime and stabilility statistics for our web hosting from a third party company.
