Server Mac Address

Hi,

I need to be able to get the mac address of the local server using perl.

I need it so it has been set as a variable and printing the variable would print the variable, obviously

Any ideas anyone?

what do you need the mac address for, this sounds like it might not be appropriate

Its for licensing.. so yes it is appropriate.
