Problems installing DBI modules

I am trying to install dbi:mysql by remote desktop connection to a windows 2003 server using ppm. I get the following error.

Error: No valid respositories:
Error: 500 Can't connect to ppm.ActiveState.com:80 (conection: Unknown error) at c:/Program Files/SWsoft/Plesk/Perl/site/lib/PPM/Repository.pm line84

I am using SygateŽ Personal Firewall PRO if that helps. A proxy isn't setup in Internet Explorer.

Thanks

Stewart

I usually see that error when there is a proxy in place.

Even though it's not set in IE, is there one that you need to get through in order to use port 80? Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with Remote Desktop.

Thanks Charlie

After posting I was looking around the server and under All Programs there was a Active State Active Perl folder with a link to PPM.

Using that PPM worked.

For some reason going to run > cmd > ppm would not work.
