Hi i need help in creating a perl (and python script) script that does the following,
A log file is to be generated by the proxy server 4 each day and contains a seperate entry 4 each time the site is accessed.

directory strusture be created on server to store informtion
Root of directory to be used to store the data
Folder created called forbbidens
Under forbbidens folder will be set of folders for each month

Why don't you use the logging capabilities of your proxy server with some sort of log rotation script? Or are you just asking for someone to code you a rotation script?
