Hi, I posted something about this in script requests but had no reply, so I thought I would try here as the script needs to use php and mysql.
basically, I run a music related website and am currently offering my members a free page on my site. I use a script called phpWebEd to allow users to update their pages. But there are a few problems, the main one being that the script does not support multiple users so I have to install a new version of the script for each band that wants a page.
I would be willing to pay for a custom script although as the money would be coming out of my own savings I would prefer a free one (naturally).
These are a few things the script needs to do.
*It must have multi user support, using the users table of my phpbb database. But users must be in a paticular group of my forums to be allowed a page.
*The page must be created and edited using a from (like the phpbb profiles)
*users must be able to upload images (that will preferebly be automatically resized to fit a specific section of the page).
users must also be able to upload mp3 clips that will be streamed from the site. it iis important the file paths are not shown and the music is streamed.
*It would be great if the generated page was something like
http://artists.solve-records.com/BANDNAME rather than something like
http://artists.solve-records.com/script.php?id=87437
* The script must also place a link to the generated page on another page which will be the band directory.
* There should be a search function so visitors can browse artists by genre etc.
