Shopping cart questions...

Ok so here's the deal I am looking for a software package for a site I am working on. I need shopping cart software that
  • is php/mysql based
  • has a user authentication feature that forces users to fill out a form with info that i make, submit the information, and then wait for me to approve them before they can purchase anything
  • simple to use as I am not an advanced coder
  • some basic marketing features (i.e. newsletters, etc.)
  • compatible with paypal and other processors

It would be nice to also be able to export info into quickbooks. I realize this is a long list of requirements but I am sure there is something out there. ANy suggestions?

I think your request is a bit detailed. If you would like all those requirements to be fixed, I suggest you hire a programmer.

Anyway, this is a very good script: http://www.oscommerce.org

Good point. I guess my only real requirement is the authentication method. That shouldnt be too hard should it?

To collect more Customer information begin by modifying /catalog/create_account.php

By default when someone orders something the transaction will be marked
Pending

Look at the New Orders in shopping cart image for a clearer idea and more information.

Yes, it's possible to export to quickbooks
