Contents of file as var

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to get the contents of a file called "messages.html" and set it as a var called "$postdata"?

I know what you are asking and how to do it but I think you need to search the internet before posting a question.

do a search on google.com for reading a file with php

or you can go to www.php.net/file
