Lightbulb doesn’t require CHMOD higher then 666??

Is it possible to write a PHP that creates folder and doesn’t require CHMOD higher then 666?

yes it is possible, see php.net for full details but basically you create a folder using: fopen() tries to open a folder, if it cant it creates it and then using chmod() you can also do other things like rename();
