Lol, I don't even know where to start with this question.

First off, is this a linux/unix server or windows, or something else?

if the school had any sort of security person, they probably are blocking all smtp traffic. Try relaying it against their mail server. I used to have a class for it, but I know it's possible. You have to auth against the server, then have it send the email.

hi all,

Im using my own laptop as web server. OS is windows. And probably using school internet connection. I had try to rely to my school admin. they don allow to do so. I saw one mail server from argosoft.com. Whether this mail server reliable to use? i mean that i jus wan to send mail only but not receive.

Any possible solution? Thanks a lot

probably not. see, smtp packets are probably blocked by the school's network because that is usually a sign of a virus. I know where I work that we do that. Only specific ip addresses can send email (our exchange server and an additional relayer). Even if there was an outside email relay, I highly doubt the firewall at your school would allow that.

I'd recommend actually getting real hosting.
