I am extremely interested in using some of the various image manipulation scripts that I have run across and possibly even writing some additional image manipulation scripts... however, my server is running off of RedHat 9, and I cannot locate a libgd2 for RedHat. Any suggestions on what I can do to get around this *tiny* little glitch?

If it comes down to the fact that I will need to build it myself, that's fine... but please let me know what dependecies I may have to meet first and where I can get the source.
