Forum Software

Hi, I am running a non-profit organization's web site and they are looking for safe reliable free forum software. They like vBulletin, but the price is too expensive for them. They don't want to use phpbb because they used this once and it got hacked. Could you please reccomend a safe reliable free forum software.

Here is an ASP.NET version -

http://communityserver.org

The web hosting company I use, uses this for their Forum and I have not seen or heard of any problems with it.

I'm assuming he's looking for a PHP solution... you know, posting in the "PHP and MySQL" forum and all.

Just suggesting a workable option that I know about. The requester is free to ignore it if it does not meet his needs.
