Hey users I need your help on this badly man. For the dumbest reason I cant connect to my local server in dreamweaver. I am using php. I already have apache, MySQL and phpmyadmin installed. I setted up the connection under the manage files menu and it keeps saying theres unidentified error occured. I dont know what the problem is. This is how I configured my connection....
Local Info:
Site name: testy
Local root folder: C:\apache\htdocs\
Default images folder: blank
HTTP address: http://
Cache: Enabled
Remote Info:
Access: Local/Network
Remote folder: C:\apache\htdocs\
Refresh remote list automatically: Not checked
Automatically upload files to server on save: Not Checked
Enable file check in and check out: Not checked
Testing Server:
Server model: PHP MySQL
Access: Local/Network
Testing server folder: C:\apache\htdocs\
Refresh remote file list automatically: Not checked
URL Prefix:
http://localhost/
Cloaking
Enable cloaking: Checked
Then thats it. Then I go to make a database connection you know by entering in the localserver information:
Connection name: company
MySQL server: localhost
username: localhost
password: blank
then when I try to connect to the database it doesnt work. Again I installed php triad previously and it worked weeks and weeks ago but now it doesnt work. I tried removing dreamweaver mx 2004 and reinstalling it but it does the same problem.
Can someone give me some suggestions on what I should do to fix this problem. And yes before I start dreamweaver I turn on Apache and the MySQL dnt thing.
