I just downloaded a guestbook.but it doesn't work.
There is only less than 100 lines' PHP program in it.I am not sure whether the problem is my server or the guestbook.I doubt about the settings of my server.
The attach file is the guestbook.

I don't know whether it is useful for solving the problem:
server system :windows 2k pro
Apache/2.0.43 Server at localhost Port 80
mysql Client API version 3.23.49
PHP Version 4.3.2

As was pointed out to me earlier ( yes, I should have known ), see if the site where you got the guestbook has a forum for questions, or some kind of support. If not, a couple possibilities...
1. Make sure your database is set up correctly, and your connection string to it.
2. Set any permissions you're supposed to.
3. Does the guestbook requirements and your server set up match?
4. The guestbook might just be crap to start with.
