Sending email to multiple receipients in phpmailer

hi,
I am having problem in sending email to multiple recipients using phpmailer class.
i have printed the $to varaible.
It has the correct value
e.g. demo@hotmail.com, aslam@yahoo.com

but i get ther following error:
Mailer Error: Could not instantiate mail function.

can any one identify the problem?

That means the PHP mail() function is not enabled on your server. Contact your webhost and ask them to enable it.
