Converting My/SQL 'DATETIME' to PHP...

Hello,
This is actually the first time of me posting in a PHP Help Forum. I've been programming PHP since Janurary, 2003; but I seem to have a little trouble.

I have a My/SQL Table with a 'DATETIME' format. An example would look like :
2003-10-20 20:20:39

I was using all kinds of codes to turn the My/SQL format into PHP, looking like :
Mon, Oct 20, 2003 @ 07:21:42 PM

I am running a webgame [Virtual Pets]. I log the users' activity on the website. There are 'User Profiles' which displays their last movement on the site. I decided to make it where it would be easier to read.

If anyone can help me with this problem, I'd be greatful.
