How to convert php generated pages to SE friendly HTML or PHP(SE friendly) -CLASS 101

hi,

hi to everyone!
this is my 1st post and hopefully not the last

i am ignorant of mod_rewrite, htaccess etc. but would love to try to learn hoping i can manage to get some of my php generated sites be decently indexed by google/SEs.

i have a php diven site up and running and i would like to get some quick help on how to convert the php generated pages to SE friendly ones, either as static HTML of index.php/folder/file (removing the ? and other php characters) more like this http://www.zend.com/zend/spotlight/searchengine.php article.

i can give out the URL of the site that i want to be converted to either html pages of SE friendly php pages (without ? etc), i just dont know if that would spamming. perhaps next post if i know for sure that its ok.

i would like to have the simplest way to do the task and would convert the pages on the fly.

thanks in advance. glad to be a part of this community.

I wrote a short article in my weblog a while ago about this. this does not use mod_rewrite: http://techlog.stefankoopmanschap.co...id=standard-28
