Question about dreamweaver and php?

If I put this in the wrong section I would appreciate it if it was moved because I do not see a dreamweaver section.

I am using dreamweaver mx to connect to php. Everything was working fine until today. I tried to create a new site to practice a script and it will not connect. When I try to connect using dreamweaver options it says:

http error code 404 file not found.

There is no testing server running on the server machine.

The testing server specified or thsi site does not map to the

//localhost/hardlife/_mmSeverScripts/MMHTTPDB.php?Type=MYSQL&ConnectionString=host=loca lhost;uid=root;&Host=localhost&Database=&UserName= root%Password=&Timeout=30[/url] URL. Verify that the URL Prefix maps to the root of the site.

I'm not sure what the problem is. I can view my php files on my machine going through the local host so php and mysql seem to be working. I am running windows xp using IIS.

Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Take care.
